Has Amy Schumer committed plagiarism? Three comediennes have recently accused her of stealing jokes, casting a negative light on the funny woman once more.

Video footage comparing her work to those of the other comediennes was recently released, raising questions on whether the actress ripped lines from other artists, according to People.

In response to the allegations, Schumer denied stealing jokes.

"On my life, I have never and would never steal a joke," the "Trainwreck" star said through a Twitter post on Wednesday.

In a radio interview, the 34-year-old reiterated that she had never stolen a joke.

"I'm getting accused of stealing jokes and I wanted to come and talk to you about it and clear my name because I would never ever do that and never have," she said.

She also went on to say that she would take a polygraph test just to prove she was not lying.

"I have to come up with so much material for my TV show, this movie, stand-up. And I'm so careful," she continued, according to People. "I will literally take a polygraph. And I just would never do that. That would be so stupid for me to do that."

In a counter move, Schumer put forward that comedienne Tammy Pescatelli must be one of those spreading the allegations. She said that comediennes Wendy Liebman and Kathleen Madigan know her and that they won't think Schumer would ever steal jokes from them.

"I think [Tammy] is upset I blocked her on Twitter a couple years ago because she was unkind to my best friend, Rachel Feinstein, and I didn't like how she treated Rachel," she revealed. "I don't think she's got much going on, this is my guess. I think people get upset by success."

According to Hollywood Life, the scandal began when Liebman tweeted that Schumer did "1 of my best jokes" on an HBO special. However, she later clarified that she did not mean to say that the "Inside Amy Schumer" creator stole her gag and that she merely said it was similar.

Pescatelli jumped into the fray and offered the suggestion that Schumer stole material from other comedians, even pointing netizens to the jokes of another funny woman, Madigan, whom Schumer reportedly plagiarized. Pescatelli later took down her accusatory tweets.

Previously, Schumer had been accused of copying a routine by the late Patrice O'Neal, another comedienne. Schumer denied the allegations, even saying she had not heard the O'Neal joke before, as per Mashable.
