Kourtney Kardashian finally addressed the Justin Bieber romance rumors during her appearance on "The Ellen Show" this week. Kardashian denied that there is more than friendship in her relationship with the Canadian pop star.

Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres straight out asked about Bieber during a conversation about Kardashian's kids. The video below from Kardashian's interview on "The Ellen Show" showed DeGeneres asking if "Justin Bieber help with the kids at all."

The 36-year-old calmly replied "no" with a knowing smile on her face. DeGeneres then asked Kardashian if she and Bieber are really just friends or if they are dating. The reality TV star insisted that they are just friends, but DeGeneres called her out on her smile.

"But why are you smiling that way? You're smiling that maybe it's beyond friends," the show host asked the mother-of-three in the video below.

Kardashian pretended to hide her face with her palms to stop herself from smiling. Then she told DeGeneres that she's been smiling that way the whole time she's been sitting there. The show host insisted her smile looked different.

DeGeneres implied that something more than friendship is going on between Kardashian and the 21-year-old hitmaker. The talk show host even pointed out how Kardashian sipped water so she won't have to answer the questions about Bieber.

A source told Hollywood Life that Bieber didn't really mind that Kardashian didn't gush about him on "The Ellen Show." The "What Do You Mean" singer reportedly also didn't get upset that she just referred to him as a friend.

"Justin expressed to Kourtney what an amazing woman she is, not to mention what a fabulous mom she is. As far as hooking up is concerned, they are both going to just concentrate on being good friends. Don't rule the hooking up out completely, but for now they are just friends," the source said.

The insider further told Hollywood Life that what really bonded Bieber and Kardashian in the first place is their same sense of humor. Amid the romance rumors, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and Bieber reportedly still continue to text and talk to each other.

Kardashian's interview on "The Ellen Show" came after Bieber was asked to comment on his rumored hook-ups with the 36-year-old. The singer appeared on "The Bert Show" and a female DJ read him a headline about his alleged romance with Kardashian. Bieber blurted out that he's only "being used." However, he also complimented Kardashian and called her "great."
