Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the prized players that Real Madrid has these days, but as everyone knows, changes are in the offing.

It all started with the firing of Rafa Benitez who was eventually replaced by Zinedine Zidane.

Zizou is seen as the right guy to turn things around for the ballclub, and it seems that he is well on his way. James Rodriguez was the first to feel the changes due to the fact that he is rumored to be someone that Zidane is not exactly comfortable with, as earlier reported by Sport.

With the big changes that Zidane is batting for, could the future include Ronaldo?

Ronaldo hasn’t exactly had one of his stellar performances, dating back to when Benitez was still around. Under Zidane, he gets a chance to regroup, though the process may take some time.

Would it eventually see Ronaldo going to Manchester United or even Paris Saint-German if he is unable to cope and revert to his old form?

It seems that as far as Zizou is concerned, all talk about Ronaldo possibly leaving is nothing more than rumors.

"As long as I am here," he said, "Cristiano isn't going anywhere," says Zidane via Goal.com.

With that said, it seems Zidane is keeping the three-time Balloon d’Or star despite rumors that he could be leaving to eye another big payday if he indeed transfers to another ballclub.

Though Ronaldo has maintained he is not going anywhere, there could still be a lot of factors to consider. That includes hopefully winning a major title like the Champions League or La Liga. Falling short of that is something that could make Ronaldo consider leaving, as per Stefan Coerts of Goal.com.

Despite his struggles, Ronaldo is still considered as one of the most gifted players of the sport and perhaps the most vital contributor to the cause of Real Madrid. The only problem right now is that he needs to break out of his slump and Zidane may be the one who can guide him out of that.

Zidane obviously has a lot of work ahead, something he knew since the day he agreed to come on board. He was likely aware as well that he was inheriting a star gone astray in Ronaldo but seems to have kept the faith on the 30-year-old star.

His intent to reel in more players could be a good move, though it remains to be seen who can help out Ronaldo on the field.

Among the names that Zizou is reportedly eyeing include Eden Hazard and David De Gea. Neymar is another target but as per previous reports, it would take something massive for that to materialize.
