Rumors have started circulating that Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart got engaged. However, the actress-singer immediately shut down the speculations.

The Los Angeles Times wrote that during an interview on the KIIS-FM radio show, “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” J-Lo seemed surprised when the host asked her about the issue.

“There’s a rumor? I’m not engaged, and I didn’t know there was (sic) rumors either,” Lopez confirmed. “I’ve been so busy that I haven’t really had time to keep up with the gossip. You have to keep me up on it.”

Based on the same LA Times report, Lopez, 46, recently re-entered a romantic relationship with her former backup dancer Casper Smart, 28. The actress has been married three times before and people started speculating that the two might also be tying the knot soon.

When she appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” earlier in January, she shut down the rumors of a fourth walk down the aisle but confirmed that she was back with Smart after separating in June 2014. Her confirmation to Seacrest was the second time in a month that she denied wedding rumors.

Lopez has been running a very busy schedule lately. Aside from being a mother of two, she is starring in “Shades of Blue,” hosting in the final season of “American Idol,” and performing at her Las Vegas residency, “All I Have.”

She and Smart try to spend as much time together. They reportedly spent the New Year together in Miami and also went to the Golden Globes in January 2016. However, Lopez confirmed that there are no wedding plans at the moment.

J-Lo did share to Today that she is open to the idea of getting married again. She said that despite her struggles in finding long-lasting love, she found contentment in herself. She explained that a person can add to her happiness but he should not be the main reason for her happiness. She needed to be happy on her own and it has been a learning curve. She added that she had some great loves and she is certain to have more.

“I love getting married. I really want to get married in a church with a big dress,” Lopez said. Smart may be the guy who will finally make that dream come true.
