Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas Release Future Now Tour Posters
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are about to officially embark on a long and exciting road trip together, as the stars prepare to kick off their "Future Now" tour.
According to Teen Vogue, the first posters promoting their much anticipated tour have hit the streets. Lovato also tweeted to promise fans a lot of excitement to come.
The poster shows the two singers in sleek, all-black and leather looks against a dramatic gold backdrop. Lovato is rocking her signature stilettos, while Jonas goes with a more reserved ensemble, pairing a leather tee and combat boots.
The tour officially begins in Florida on June 24 and ends Sept. 17 in Inglewood, California. As previously reported, the duo have also planned stops in North Carolina, Virginia, New York, Ohio, Nevada and Texas.
"Demi and I were business partners and, obviously, have a long history of being friends, but the chief for us was about living in this moment, taking a step out individually over the last year-and-a-half, two years, and growing with our fans and then saying, you know, if there was ever a time to do it, it's now," Jonas told ABC News back when concert plans were first announced. "[We're] so excited to get in front of our fans and really curate the moment each night."
The two previously worked together in the Disney Channel "Camp Rock" films, and Jonas was both the musical and creative director on her 2014 "Neon Lights" tour. Not long ago, the two also launched the Safehouse Records label.
Lovato was originally scheduled to tour with former "American Idol" star Adam Lambert, but after Jonas became available, the two apparently couldn't resist the temptation to work side by side once more.
The 23-year-old Lovato also recently hit the road to campaign for Democratic 2016 presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton in the critical, early-voting state of Iowa.
"She completely embodies the concept of women empowerment," NBC reported Lovato raved of Clinton.
