Eva Longoria, Jose Antonio Baston Walk Red Carpet Together for First Time Since Engagement
For the first time since announcing their engagement, Eva Longoria and Jose Antonio Baston strolled the red carpet together at the recent Screen Actors Guild Awards.
People magazine reports the newly engaged pair looked the picture of contentment, with the "Desperate Housewives" star rocking an embellished, green Julien Macdonald gown that featured a plunging neckline and open back.
Longoria and Baston announced their intentions of tying the knot after he popped the question with a ruby-and-diamond ring in December during a romantic trip to Dubai.
"He's amazing, he's gorgeous and really the kindest human being I've ever met," the "Telenovela star has since said of her soon to be husband.
Longoria recently revealed one of her first childhood crushes was Ricky Martin, currently one of her biggest pals in all of Hollywood.
"Ricky Martin was my first crush growing up," she recently told Film News of the "Livin' la Vida Loca" star. "When I met him, I was like, 'You don't understand, I loved you so much growing up.'"
The 41-year-old Longoria has previously been married to actor Tyler Christopher and NBA star Tony Parker.
"He is probably one of the first men I've dated that has been older and established and, basically, a grownup," she recently said of Baston. "It is so nice to be arm-in-arm with someone who is your equal."
And just to think, Baston didn't even know who his fiancee was when the two first met. What's more, she recently told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that he still hadn't seen her star in the "Desperate Housewives" role that made her a household name until just a short time ago.
"He tries to watch, and, of course, I'm banging the gardener in the first season, she told The Daily Mail. "And he's like, 'I don't want to watch.' I was like 'Yeah, yeah let's jump to Season 5. That's when I was not sleeping with anybody."'
