It seems like Kim Kardashian enjoys everything in threes. As the wedding with her soon-to-be third husband quickly approaches, reports claim that Kim and Kanye West will plan three weddings in celebration of their love.

Oh, to be rich and a celebrity.

According to RadarOnline, the couple will hold one wedding ceremony in Southern California and have two weddings in France.

So why the excessive number of weddings? Well, aside from the fact that Kim and Kanye love to do things over the top (Kim's last wedding with basketball player Kris Humphries reportedly cost $10 million), they are doing this for assurance and legal reasons. Kimye's first wedding in California will take place to ensure that the couple is, in fact, legally married.

"Typically, the U.S. recognizes citizens getting married in France, but dealing with a foreign government and paperwork could be a nightmare," an insider for RadarOnline explained. "So just to make sure it's legal, Kim and Kanye will first be having a civil ceremony in Southern California."

Fair enough. As for the two weddings in France; well, French law requires that a couple perform a civil ceremony before a religious ceremony in order for the marriage to be fully recognized under French law.

Though Kimye's triple wedding is for legal reasons, we're sure the pair has been relishing in the idea of going above and beyond for all three weddings. In fact, RadarOnline reports that Kim Kardashian will be making three dress changes during the wedding ceremony in France that will reportedly take place at the 17th-century Louis XIV-commissioned Château de Louveciennes.

"Kim will have at least three dress changes on the big ceremony day in France," says the RadarOnline source. "It will be over the top. Kim and Kanye want it to be the wedding of the century."
