On the latest episode of "Grey's Anatomy," Cristina dealt with major disappointment and April revealed a big secret. 

In "Change of Heart," Cristina (Sandra Oh), doesn't show up for her flight home, which worries Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Owen (Kevin McKidd). When they get back to the hospital, Meredith is visibly upset about Cristina losing the award, and takes out her frustrations on April. 

Meanwhile, Derek (Patrick Dempsey) is surprised when his sister, Amelia, shows up at his house out of the blue. She says she recently got engaged and is scared about making such a big decision.

Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) are discussing when one of them will get pregnant. April (Sarah Drew) butts in while they're planning, and Callie and Arizona realize that April has outstayed her welcome.

Without informing anyone of her return, Cristina arrives at Grey Sloan in time for surgery. She tells them all that, even though she didn't win the Harper Avery Award, she in honored just to be nominated. Although she puts on a brave face, no one is convinced that she's okay with losing.

Alex (Justin Chambers) then tells Arizona that he's planning on taking a new job. 

Meanwhile, Richard (James Pickens Jr.) goes to Boston to visit Catherine, but also wants to find out why Cristina didn't win the award. Catherine tells him that Cristina's research was better than the rest of the nominees, but that she didn't win the award because of a conflict of interest; the hospital she works for is owned by the same foundation that hands out the awards.

He accuses Catherine of using Cristina to garner publicity for Grey Sloan. After arguing, he tells her that he came to Boston to propose to her. He gives her the ring, but leaves before she responds.

Cristina, who is upset about losing a patient in a difficult surgery, becomes even more depressed when she hears about the news that Richard learned from Catherine.

Later, Alex breaks the news at a board meeting that he's been offered a new job, and that he's going to leave once his fellowship is up.

Jackson (Jesse Williams) also apologizes to April, saying he wants to work through their problems. But she says she can't get past their divergent religious views. She then tells him that the children issue is no longer hypothetical, because she's pregnant.

On the next episode, "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together," "Cristina seeks guidance from Meredith as she makes a decision about her future. Meanwhile, Derek and Amelia join forces to operate on conjoined twins; Jo takes on too many cases; and Stephanie uncovers the truth about Bailey's bubble-boy case."
