Ariadna Gutierrez is headed to the White House to meet President Obama and celebrate Plan Colombia's anniversary.

Fortune reports on Feb. 4, the Miss Universe runner-up is slated to join a group of other Colombian celebrities in calling attention to the 15th anniversary of the military and diplomatic agreement between the U.S. and Colombia aimed at fighting the flow of narcotics.

Joining her in attendance will be Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, ex-Colombian president Andres Pastrana and President Bill Clinton, who helped broker the agreement back in 2000.

It's been an eventful time for Gutierrez ever since she was wrongly named the winner of Miss Universe by pageant host Steve Harvey, only to be stripped of the crown moments later on live TV.

In a subsequent interview with Harvey on his talk show, Gutierrez admitted she once considered the evening "the worst night of my life."

But that all seems like a lifetime ago now as Gutierrez has quietly gone about the business of doing the work she's long insisted matters to her most.

In addition to political endeavors, she continues to have an eye cast toward global causes, namely helping the worldwide youth.

"Maybe I'll be bigger than Miss Universe," she said.

Certainly her trip to the White House and all the work she's done that landed her the invite puts her on such a path.

Still, that hasn't stopped the offers from pouring in. She was recently rumored to be in talks Burger King about the prospect of starring in a commercial for the company.

In addition, TMZ reports Gutiérrez is rumored to also be in talks with Corona about starring in a commercial that features her on the beach enjoying a cold beer and her people are also reported to be engaging in discussions with Victoria Secret about an endorsement deal.
