Spice Girls Songs, Lyrics, & Wannabe: The Spice Girls Reunite for Victoria 'Posh Spice' Beckham's 40th Birthday Party
Back in the 1990s, the Spice Girls became world-renowned superstars that sung about girl power and maintaining a "friendship that never ends." Now, almost two decades later, it seems that their kinship has stood against the test of time as the British pop stars recently reunited for Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham's 40th birthday party.
Beckham, who held her birthday gala at the London Arts Club on Sunday, April 27, was joined by her former bandmates Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell, Emma "Baby Spice" Bunton and Mel "Sporty Spice" C. The only person missing was Mel B., aka Scary Spice, who was in Los Angeles shooting for "America's Got Talent" with auditions with Heidi Klum, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel, according to the Huffington Post.
The singers shared pictures of the festivities on their social media pages. In one photo, Mel C. wrote, "Girls night out," as the caption of an Instagram photo of herself and Bunton.
In addition to the Spice Girls, the singer-turned-fashion designer also celebrated with her husband David Beckham, brother Christian Adams, sister Louise Adams, director Guy Ritchie and Coldplay's Chris Martin.
Other guests included celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana Ramsay.
Victoria Beckham shared a photo on Twitter, with the caption reading, "So much fun with my family last night! I love u Louise and Christian x Victoria."
During an interview with Heart FM, Bunton described the birthday party, saying, "I was a bit of a state. I don't think I was the worst — that was Mel C. I danced a lot, my feet are hurting. And I drank a lot." Mel C told the radio station she was still feeling drunk 12 hours after the party had wrapped up.
The mother-of-four turned 40 on April 17.
