Kate Middleton, Prince William Enjoying Low-Key Pre-Valentine’s Date?
Love is definitely in the air for royal couple Kate Middleton and Prince William. Despite their hectic royal schedules, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a low-key pre-Valentine's date at a local pub, which is only 15 minutes away from their Anmer hall residence in Norfolk.
According to the royal watchers, Duchess Kate and Prince William took a rare night off to enjoy each other's company at The Crown Inn at East Rudham. Sources also revealed that romance is "very much alive" for the couple as they were reportedly spotted leaning into one another as they laughingly and jokingly chatted, Daily Mail noted.
"They were very low key and it seemed quite a last minute thing," an insider told The Sun. "Maybe it was a rare night out since Charlotte was born. They were leaning into one another chatting away, laughing and joking. It's nice for them to have a normal night out like any other parents of young children."
Both royals were also seen casually-dressed for the occasion. The 34-year-old Duchess was reportedly wearing a "laidback skinny jeans and a navy jumper."
"They both looked a little tired but seemed to have a lovely time and left at about 10.30 p.m.," the source said.
During their low-key date, 33-year-old Prince William was also seen drinking a glass of wine while Duchess Kate opted for sparking water, Hello! magazine reported.
Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been quite busy with their respective royal responsibilities, not to mention their parental duties. Prince William also served as the East Anglian Air ambulance pilot, in which his shift apparently made them missed their annual Mustique getaway.
The Duke, however, is not the only royal in their family-of-four who's interested in flying. As a matter of fact, Duchess Kate revealed this weekend that their two-and-a-half-year-old son Prince George, who recently started attending the Westacre Montessori School, is "obsessed" with the air cadets.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton and Prince William are set to visit India for the first time in April. Despite no official itinerary, the royal couple will reportedly travel round the Asian subcontinent between April 10 and 17 sans their two children.
In addition, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will also lead a series of celebrations to honor Queen Elizabeth II's upcoming 90th birthday.
In other news, the royal couple's London home has recently been shaken with reports that a man in his 40s was killed by a fire near the wall of Kensington Palace on Tuesday morning, BBC News reported.
The authorities attempted to douse the flames with a fire extinguisher. According to People, paramedics and the fire department were also called shortly but in spite of their efforts, the man was pronounced dead.
The man had been missing for a few hours before his death after he failed to return to a central London hospital where he was currently checked in.
Prince William, Kate Middleton and their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were not at home at the time of the incident.
