“Fuller House” is coming to Netflix late in February 2016. The sequel to the popular sitcom “Full House” will debut as an original series on the web streaming site.

Here are five great reasons for watching “Fuller House”:

1. The comedy

“Fuller House” is the sequel of the funny American sitcom “Full House,” which aired from 1987 to 1995. The Verge revealed that the follow-up series was created and produced by Jeff Franklin and features many of the same wordplay, laughter and other hilarious antics that made the original highly popular.

2. The cast

The main cast will include Candace Cameron Bure, who will play D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Turner, Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler, D.J.’s son, Jackson Fuller (Michael Campion), D.J.’s second son, Max (Elias Harger), D.J.’s baby, Tommy (Dashiell and Fox Messitt), and Kimmy’s daughter, Ramona (Soni Nicole Bringas). The recurring cast members will include John Stamos, who will be remarking about his own agelessness, Bob Saget, Lori Loughlin and Dave Coulier, among others.

3. The references

Netflix recently released a full trailer for the upcoming show, which featured several references from the 1990s. Variety noted that there were even catchphrases from the original series, which fans may appreciate.

“My moves are all that and a bag of chips. Talk to the hand, loser. Oh, snap! You go, girl. I think I just did,” Kimmy responded after Stephanie told her that she is still stuck in the ‘90s.

4. The return of the Olsen twins

People who watched the original show know that the highly successful Olsen twins started their acting careers as infants, playing Michelle Tanner on “Full House.” According to Variety, creator Jeff Franklin previously mentioned that he remains optimistic that Mary-Kate and Ashley will appear in future seasons. Franklin shared that he tried persuading the twins to join the cast, although they declined in the meantime. He added that they are still hopeful that the Olsen twins will reprise Michelle soon.

5. The story

Similar to the original show, “Fuller House” will be set in San Francisco. The story will revolve around D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who has recently been widowed and is currently working as a veterinarian. She has three sons and asks for the help of her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy to join her in one house and assist her in raising the kids.

“Fuller House” will premiere on Feb. 26 on Netflix. More updates and details are expected soon.
