It seems that Alicia DiMichele will not come back for season 5 of VH1's "Mob Wives," but she has her former co-stars' support.

Last Wednesday, NY Daily News reported that DiMichele would not return for a second season of the reality show. According to sources, she sent a resignation to the network weeks ago. She is currently undergoing a court case; on Wednesday she "with withdrew her guilty plea to embezzling union funds from the trucking company" owned by husband Edward "Tall Guy" Garofalo Jr., according to the newspaper. When asked if she was leaving, DiMichele said she "can't talk about that," but based on her Twitter page, which features many retweets from "Mob Wives" fans mourning her loss, it seems that the report is indeed true

Renee Graziano, who stars on the show, is not stunned that DiMichele is out.

"Honestly, I was a little surprised she joined the cast because of her whole court case," the reality star told Radar Online. "The show didn't bring her any good, so I can see why she's pulling out now."

Drita D'avanzo, however, did not see it coming.

"I was shocked," she said. "I'm not happy about her resigning. I don't want her to leave. I mean, she has to do what's best for her family, and obviously I'm on her side whatever road she chooses to take."

D'avanzo admitted that she knows why her friend left the show.

"She had a very hard time on this show," she explained. "All her f**king business ends up everywhere, whether it's true or not. It's awful."

Meanwhile, Natalia Guercio, who was close with DiMichele before the show, agrees with DiMichele's decision.

"Alicia had a story to be told, and she did it with class," Guercio explained. "... Now it's time for her to focus on herself and her family. I'm very proud of her and support her in her decision: Family over everything!"

Graziano and DiMichele butted heads on season 4 because DiMichele thought Graziano was talking about her court case behind her back. Still, it seems Graziano wishes DiMichele the best.

"She is a mom and has to do what she needs to do for her three beautiful children who don't deserve to be pulled through the mud," Graziano added. " She is doing the right thing leaving the show, and I wish her all the best."
