The American horror-drama television series on AMC, "The Walking Dead," has finally returned in the small screens. The second half of season 6 started on Feb 14.

According to Cleveland, Sunday's midseason premiere episode was the best opening of the show. It may have also featured the mysterious return of a major character. However, io9 believes otherwise and thinks everything is wrong.

The episode opened with Daryl, Sasha and Abraham facing a small group of Negan's Saviors. However, just when Sasha and Abraham were about to die, Daryl blew up the group with a rocket launcher.

The scene was exciting but there was something in it that fans might have overlooked. Here are five things in "Walking Dead" Season 6 midseason premiere episode that you might have missed:

1. Moving car in the background - When Daryl killed the Saviors, a moving car was spotted in the background. There were speculations that Negan or one of his lieutenants was in the car. Negan and his group are known in the comic for driving unique-looking cars. In fact, viewers saw it during the Daryl/Dwight episode in the first half of Season 6.

UPROXX reported that Norman Reedus' character, Daryl Dixon, might not stay longer in "The Walking Dead" world. After all, the actor is already developing his own AMC show. But, how will his character die? There are rumors that Negan will find out later that Daryl blew his henchman and he will go after him.

2. Sam had a different story arc - Per Forbes, in the end of the midseason finale, Rick and company left the house covered with zombies. As they were about to leave, Sam shouted "Mom! Mom!" -- it was one of the most awkward cliffhangers on the show.

However, when the midseason premiered Sam was shown in a completely different scene. He seems to be doing fine until the zombies attacked him. According to io9, Sam's' death serves no purpose.

3. Everyone did nothing when Sam was attacked - When Sam freaked out and could not move, Rick could have carried the kid to safety but nobody helped or they all reacted strangely. Even his mom, Jessie just stood there screaming.

4. Sudden lapse of time - The report suggests that it was a bright day when everything happens but, when Sam freaks out, it was already nighttime. Alexandria is small and they could have inhabited the area early, but the time goes from sunny afternoon into total darkness. There was no sunset.

5. Rick gave Judith to Father Gabriel - It's kind of confusing that, suddenly, Gabriel, Eugene and the other coward Alexandrians found the courage to stood up and fought back. However, it is still unbelievable for Rick to give the baby to the dishonest priest. Perhaps, it was a call for desperate times.
