WWE SmackDown Spoilers, Results for Feb 18, 2016: Brock Lesnar, Triple H Appear in Final Show Before 'Fastlane'
WWE has taped the latest "SmackDown," featuring appearances from Brock Lesnar and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H.
The show, filmed in Ontario, Canada this week, started with a six-man tag-team match featuring League of Nations members Alberto Del Rio, Rusev and Sheamus against Dolph Ziggler, Sin Cara and United States Champion Kalisto. New Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens was on commentary, joined by Michael Cole, who was filling in for an absent Mauro Ranallo.
League of Nations won, following interference from Owens. The win adds to Del Rio's momentum for his "Fastlane" match against Kalisto for the United States Championship.
Sasha Banks fought against her former Team BAD teammate Tamina. Banks continued her undefeated streak in singles matches, as Tamina submitted to the Banks Statement. After the match, Naomi and Tamina attacked Banks until Becky Lynch made the save. The four divas are scheduled to compete at "Fastlane," as Banks and Lynch fight Naomi and Tamina this Sunday night.
Chris Jericho defeated The Miz via submission. After the match, AJ Styles appeared and challenged Jericho to a one-on-one match at "Fastlane."
In a rare occurrence, a second divas match took place on "SmackDown." WWE Divas Champion Charlotte defeated Natalya in a non-title match. Following Charlotte's win, Brie Bella appeared and brawled with the champion. Charlotte and Bella are set to compete for the Divas Championship at "Fastlane."
Finally, the main event was a tag match that pitted Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose against The Dudley Boyz. The match ended in disqualification, when Lesnar appeared and attacked Ambrose. Lesnar suplexed Ambrose and Reigns.
Reigns tried to spear the former UFC champion but accidentally hit his Shield brother. Ambrose tried to land his finishing move on Reigns, but the Samoan reversed it to a Samoan Drop on the Ohioan. Next, Lesnar hit the F5 on Reigns. Triple H then appeared and looked at Lesnar as the show concluded.
Ambrose, Lesnar and Reigns are scheduled to compete in a triple-threat match at "Fastlane" to determine the No. 1 contender for Triple H's WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The winner of Sunday's triple-threat match will face Triple H at "WrestleMania."
"WWE SmackDown" airs weekly on Thursdays on the USA Network at 8 p.m ET.
