New Trailer for 'Orphan Black' Season 4 is Out; Premiere Date Announced
A new trailer for “Orphan Black” Season 4 recently surfaced. The premiere date of the highly anticipated series has also been officially announced.
Previously, there were only vague hints about the plot and characters of the upcoming season. The new trailer actually continues to develop the mystery more, so viewers will have to wait until the official launch to get full details.
Dealing with the Past and Present
The video featured a number of action scenes from the new season and also looked back on previous plots. Sarah (Tatiana Maslany) said that she was going back to where everything began. The intriguing new clone, M.K., was also shown with her sheep mask pulled back. There were some new characters featured in the clip as well, although it is uncertain what their roles will be in Season 4.
“Orphan Black” Season 3 was quite complicated, but the final episode successfully stitched together the story to the satisfaction of viewers. Season 4 appears to maintain the suspense in the narrative, which made the first two seasons highly popular. The clones in the new season will have to deal with both their current situation and history. The upcoming sci-fi series hints that the showrunners considered a lot of feedback from fans in developing the plot, which will hopefully create a brand new tale that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
The Clone That Started It All
In Season 4 of “Orphan Black,” Sarah will hesitatingly come back home from her cold hideout to look for the mysterious ally linked to the clone who started it all, known as Beth Childs. Sarah will trace Beth as the latter enters a dangerous relationship with a potential new enemy. Sarah only wishes to keep her sisters safe. Her old traits will also return with it. The sestra’s will again be forced to struggle while Sarah will be isolated from the bond that was supposed to make her better.
M.K. most likely holds the answers to many of Sarah’s questions. The new clone has also known that she is a clone for a long time. Co-creators John Fawcett and Graeme Manson described the new clone as highly elusive, skillful and intelligent. However, she is also very paranoid and does not wish to get involved as much as possible, making her a threat in her own way. Sarah will have to be cautious in dealing with M.K.
“Orphan Black” Season 4 will premiere on Apr. 14, 2016 on BBC America.
