There is a conflict brewing between Fox News and presidential aspirant Hillary Clinton. The latter chooses to ignore their invitation for an interview.

Fox & Friends Attacked Clinton

Just earlier this month, "Fox & Friends" co-host Heather Nauert made a remark about Clinton's statement when the politician said that she thinks Bernie Sanders characterized her.

The host noted that Sanders is ahead of Clinton among young Democratic women and even questioned Clinton's "bra-burning" campaign.

"I wonder how her remark about, oh, I'm certainly not an establishment candidate, I'm the first woman running for president. I wonder how that bra-burning is going to play this year," Nauert said. "Maybe that was something that people liked four years ago, or previously, but it doesn't seem like that's going over too well."

Fox vs. Clinton and Obama

President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Clinton have been subject to relentless attacks by Fox News. It even came to a point that the White House does not allow administration officials to appear exclusively on Fox News because doing so would be rewarding bad behavior and allowing inaccurate reporting.

According to a report, Fox News was pushing racism and birtherism against Obama even before he took office. To teach them a lesson, the administration is making it difficult for them to get juicy details that could have been essential in their reports.

Last year, Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace expressed his disappointment in not getting the scoop from Jeh Johnson about the terror threat after the White House sent a number of representatives to other networks except them.

"We wanted to ask Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson about the terror threat while the White House put him on another Sunday show," Wallace said.

"They declined to make him available to Fox viewers. The White House has made a number of guests available to other networks this year while excluding us and you. We did get to interview Chief of Staff Denis McDonough and DHS Secretary Johnson once this year, but only when they appeared on all five networks."

Wallace has the same sentiments towards Clinton now. The host noted that they have already sat down with every candidate except for Clinton. They have been calling her campaign officials and communications director, but they did not receive any response.

Clinton Takes Her Revenge

It looks like Clinton is getting even with Fox News by ignoring their invitations. In 2009, Clinton received an email from a family friend Marty Torrey, asking her if she saw Harold Naughton on his appearance for Fox News Channel.

"Yeah for Hank! Maybe he will become a regular. Those shows need at least one sane realistic voice," Clinton replied.

It looks like the presidential candidate does not trust Fox anchors.
