"Dance Moms" is a show typically filled with onstage and off-screen battles. Interestingly, the next episode is taking it to next level with a showdown between two of the show's biggest stars: coach Abby Lee Miller and rising star Maddie Ziegler.

The news of Miller lashing out at the young dancer is surprising as Ziegler is famously one of the coach's favorite students. Now that she's back from filming her upcoming movie, her comeback proves to be a challenging one for her, the coach and the rest of the team.

"Maddie has returned from shooting her movie and is back on the team for good, but to everyone's surprise, Abby doesn't seem happy to see her #1 dancer," the official synopsis read. "The moms question if Abby is jealous of Maddie's fame and Ashlee uses this to her advantage in hopes that Abby will spend more time grooming Brynn to be the next big star."

The promo for the next episode featured clips that showed some of the conflicts that the audience will be seeing. These include a troubled Ziegler being told off by her coach and the mothers confronting Miller about her feelings toward the young star.

At the end of the preview is the familiar sight of the mothers taking on Miller due to her disinterested attitude toward their daughters and the competition. However, this time, the famous coach seemed to be in no mood for a fight and was instead very emotional. The normally combative Lifetime star, who is currently facing legal troubles for false bankruptcy, was in tears as she spoke to her "Dance Moms" co-stars.

"I sacrificed everything for your kids," she declared, wiping away her tears. "I'm sick and tired of fighting."

It's difficult to imagine where the show will go without its most recognizable stars. Ziegler, her mother and her sister are rumored to be on their way out of the show and a similar speculation is surrounding the fate of Miller. However, Lifetime is not seem to be worried for Season 6.

The network reportedly extended the ongoing season of "Dance Moms" by ordering more episodes of the hit television show. It's still unknown how many additional episodes are being requested, but this is a good sign for the reality series moving forward.

"Dance Moms" Season 6, Episode 8 is entitled "Maddie Is Back." It will air on Tuesday, Feb. 23, at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
