Does Shane McMahon Deserve Match With Undertaker at WrestleMania 32?
WWE kept its course for its WrestleMania 32 event with Roman Reigns meeting WWE COO Triple H for the heavyweight title. However, it has expectedly drawn negative reactions.
With no more pay-per-views prior to the big dance in April, the best thing WWE can do right now is, perhaps, add interesting cards to the annual WWE extravaganza.
To date, two matches have officially been added to WrestleMania 32, and, so far, they are seen as blockbusters. One match will see the two stars that Reigns fended off to get there: Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar.
The fight could be seen as an aftermath of Ambrose’s death wish, which started even before WWE Fastlane 2016 kicked off.
Though competing at a big size disadvantage, Ambrose has proven that he is as tough as a nail. While he may not be able to match Lesnar's power-for-power, his resilience has been his key to stand up to other wrestlers, making him the modern day favorite of WWE.
With a no disqualification match, the odds may have just been evened for Ambrose. He can use anything or employ the low blows to settle the disadvantage, making the match something to look forward to.
The other match is something equally surprising with the sudden return of Shane McMahon.
Being away from the WWE scene for the past seven years, Shane-O-Mac made a surprise return at WWE Raw. And just like that, the son of WWE chief Vince McMahon has been inserted into WrestleMania 32. However, he may have his work cut out for him as he faces the Undertaker.
The Undertaker has long been known to be without a dance partner, so the surprising card does leave many divided. Does Shane McMahon stand a chance against the "Dead Man"?
If one talks about skill level, Shane is a sitting duck. However, if the 47-year-old McMahon uses his wits and "Hell in a Cell" scenario to his advantage, then this could be a pretty entertaining card to look forward to.
At stake is the potential control of WWE Raw if Shane manages to pull one over the Undertaker, which could hint the end of "The Authority." But if he loses, McMahon gets his hands on a lockbox, something which Shane is keeping from his father’s clutches.
Right now, it may be hard to visualize how Shane can pull one off, unless everything is part of another diabolical plan that would see Shane turn to the dark side. Moreover, a loss by the Undertaker to Shane may tarnish his record for the annual WWE extravaganza.
