Cast of 'Lo Que La Vida Me Robó' Shoots Montserrat's Wedding in 104-Degree Weather [Spoilers]
Sizzling temperatures are not enough to get in the way of shooting a TV show.
In Mexico, the stars of "Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" shot scenes for Montserrat's upcoming marriage in 104-degree weather. And the cast didn't let the weather dampen their spirits, TV Notas said.
Angelique Boyer and Luis Roberto Guzman were on set shooting scenes from their characters' upcoming wedding. Montserrat believes Alejandro to be dead, so after seven years, she is attempting to move on with her life. She wants her son, Laurito, to have a father.
The two started working at 7 a.m., but by noon, the weather had hit 104 degrees. Boyer carried around a fan and used it to fan herself and even her co-star, Guzman. She was photographed fanning him inside the church, Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Concepción.
In addition, it seems women suffer for fashion, even on their fake wedding day. On top of being hot, Boyer also wore a 22-pound wedding dress. She only wore the dress when she was shooting so that she could try to keep cool.
The two actors were hardly alone. They needed the about 150 extras to complete the scene. Shooting ended around 6 p.m.
TV Notas did not say if Montserrat goes through with the wedding. One of the last times the cast was caught shooting, she was visited by Alejandro, but it did seem as though the wedding happened.
The biggest problem Montserrat and Alejandro face is that each think the other is dead. He's only interested in finding his son again, and she wants to continue living her life. After seven years of separation, they will see each other at her wedding, but perhaps it won't be the reconciliation viewers expect.
