'DWTS' Pro Kym Johnson Now Engaged With Millionaire Beau Robert Herjavec
Former "Dancing with the Stars" partners Kym Johnson and Robert Herjavec are now engaged.
"I never thought a year ago I'd meet someone who would change my life completely!" Johnson, 39, wrote on Instagram on Sunday, alongside a photo of her and Herjavec. "I'm the luckiest girl in the world because last night the love of my life @robert_herjavec asked me to marry him and I said yes!"
A representative of Johnson, who did not return to her post on the 21st season of "DWTS," told Us Weekly that the performer is "overjoyed."
"Robert adores her and they are the sweetest couple," Johnson's rep further told the news outlet. "All of their friends are so happy for them!"
The "DWTS" pro started dating the 53-year-old "Shark Tank" judge and Canadian entrepreneur before the show's 20th season aired in March 2015, Us Weekly noted. After Herjavec's proposal, the couple headed to a surprise party to celebrate the engagement, with Cheryl Burke, Carson Kressley, and a handful of their closest friends in attendance
Herjavec and wife Diane Plese separated in July 2014 after 15 years of marriage, Us Weekly wrote. They have three children named Caprice, Skye and Brendan. Johnson was never married, but she was engaged to Australian cricket player Shane Watson in the past. She also dated TV presenter Tom Williams, News.com.au noted.
Herjavec and Johnson were spotted going on vacations together, with their romance also evident on the dance floor, according to E! News. The duo wrapped a "DWTS" performance with a huge and unexpected kiss, ending up in the sixth place.
Johnson said back then that they were "having the best time," while Herjavec said that he loves "spending time with her," the news outlet further reported.
Johnson, Herjavec Appear in Public After Engagement Announcement
Johnson and Herjavec appeared as an engaged couple for the first time on Sunday at the 24th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar viewing party in West Hollywood, California, according to a report from People.
"I still can't believe that a year after walking into a dance studio of all places, my life has changed this much," Herjavec told People. "Kym is an incredible woman and I'm just so excited for what the future brings for us."
Johnson, who now sports a 6.5-carat engagement ring, said that she is "overwhelmed and so happy," adding that she is "lucky" to be engaged to "a wonderful man," the news outlet reported.
