"Little Monsters" around the world will be very happy to hear that their "Mother Monster" is back in the studio preparing for the release of her fifth studio album later this year. While on the red carpet during the 88th Academy Awards, Lady Gaga told Ryan Seacrest that she's back to doing what she love the most, which is making music, per a Music Mic report. 

"Well, I, you know, I'm working on my record. You know, I'm so happy to be in the studio and to have such an incredible team," Gaga said.

She added that she's just glad to be making music again and is relieved that she has not to worry about being a famous celebrity for the time being. 

'Til It Happens to You'

According to the Rolling Stone, "The New Queen of Pop" was nominated for an Academy Award with songwriter Diane Warren. Their song "Til It Happens to You" from the documentary about rape on college campuses "The Hunting Ground" was among the nominees for Best Original Song.

The duo is also working together for Gaga's upcoming fifth studio album. A very emotional Lady Gaga also performed the song live at the Oscars that captivated all those who watched it. It should be noted that both Gaga and Warren were victims of sexual assault in the past.

The live performance started with Gaga singing a ballad of the song while wearing an all-white outfit. Then she started playing the white piano along with a string orchestra before being joined by a group of rape victims.

Gaga held back tears as she finished singing. Words like "Not Your Fault," "Survivor," "Unbreakable" and "It Happened To Me" were written on the arms of the sexual assault victims.  

Untitled Studio Album

The 29-year-old singer and actress confirmed her fifth studio album after winning a Golden Globe award on Jan. 10, as reported by Entertainment Weekly. She portrayed "The Countess" in the TV series "American Horror Story: Hotel." She also hinted in an interview that the character may be part of her newest album.

"What was nice about playing The Countess is it reminded me that in my own life and in my music, I'm always -- at times -- playing a character, and I become them fully. And living inside of her was liberating, I'll tell you because she doesn't give a s*** about anything," Gaga said.

The fifth still-untitled studio album will be Lady Gaga's first since September 2014 when she collaborated with Tony Bennett for "Cheek to Cheek." Her other studio albums include "The Fame," "Born This Way," and "Artpop," per Billboard.
