BAU To Hunt For Child Kidnapper
Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until Wednesday, March 16 for another brand new episode of the CBS series. However, it promises to be well worth the wait as spoilers reveal that the BAU will launch a manhunt to find an UnSub that steals children from their homes while their parents are sleeping.
The Sandman Synopsis
The synopsis for the episode, which is entitled "The Sandman," reads as follows:
"The BAU is going to head to Wichita in search of an UnSub abducting children while their parents sleep. Also, Morgan will end up trying to find out who was responsible for his attack."
Derek's Torture Story
The synopsis also reveals that Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) will try to track down the person behind his attack. In last week's episode, Derek was kidnapped and nearly tortured to death by a man named Edgar Solomon, played by Charles Measure, reports TVLine.
After being beaten to a pulp, Derek began to subconsciously escape his pain by fantasizing about a peaceful life living with Savannah (Rochelle Aytes) and having two children with her. However, his mind then takes a darker turn as remembers the day his father, played by Danny Glober, was fatally shot while on duty as a policeman. Derek also recalls being molested by a pedophile when he was 15 years old.
Eventually, he was rescued by his fellow agents on the BAU team and taken to a hospital. Following his near-death experience, he decided to propose to his pregnant girlfriend, Savannah, who immediately said yes.
Season 11, Episode 16 of "Criminal Minds," "The Sandman," will premiere on Wednesday, March 16 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
