'NCIS' Season 13, March 22 Spoilers: Robert Wagner Returns as Anthony DiNozzo Sr. in 'Reasonable Doubts' Episode
Robert Wagner is set to reprise his role of Anthony DiNozzo Sr. in the upcoming "Reasonable Doubts" episode of "NCIS" Season 13. The father of outgoing star Michael Weatherly's Agent Tony DiNozzo character is slated to guest star on March 22, 2106 where it is revealed he could also be the father to a long, lost daughter.
Does DiNozzo Have a Sister?
Ever since Weatherly announced his plans to leave the show at the end of the season after 13 years, speculation has run rampant about how producers may decide to write his character out of the storyline. News that he could have a sibling somewhere in distress, perhaps even homeless, is sparking plenty of chatter that could be the critical situation that pulls his heart elsewhere.
To offset Weatherly's pending departure, several media outlets have previously reported show creators of TV's most popular drama series are hoping to land a major star similar to what "Extant" did in signing former Academy Award winner Halle Berry to its cast.
Whomever the new addition ultimately proves to be, word is the new cast member could be officially joining the show before the end of the season and possibly as early as by the series' upcoming 300th episode.
Series 300th Episode set to air Later This Month
The "Scope" entitled 300th episode is slated to air on March 15 and will guest-star Taye Diggs as PTSD suffering Marine Sergeant Aaron Davis. As part of his recovery, Diggs' character is put through a tedious music therapy program that Agent Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is hoping will trigger his memory and aid the crew in solving the details of an open murder investigation.
In the "Reasonable Doubt" episode the crew is also faced with untangling who is lying, the wife or the mistress after the quarreling women accuse one another of being responsible for the murder of a Navy Public Affairs officer.
