Adele New Album and Music Release: Singer Teases New Record Launch on Twitter
Adele is now 26, and she Tweeted some exciting news on the eve of her birthday.
"Bye bye 25... See you again later in the year x," she said on her Twitter account on Sunday.
She included a picture, which featured her in bed without any makeup and with a smile on her face.
The English singer has titled her last two albums after her ages. In 2011, she released "21" and in 2008 "19" was released. So 2014 is shaping up to be the year of "25."
There have been rumors that Adele was working on a new album. Ryan Tedder confirmed he was working with Adele on a new project in March. Tedder has worked with Demi Lovato, Colbie Caillat, Beyoncé and Ellie Goulding. He had a role in her "21" album.
"I haven't heard everything she's done, but I've heard everything we've done and I'm as proud of it or prouder of anything we did on the first album, and she is sounding even better than ever," he said.
Wiz Khalifa said he was collaborating with Adele on something he described as "really hippie."
"It's a cross between [the sounds of] right now and the '60s and '70s. It's really hippie," he said to Fuse News. "That went everywhere after we talked about it. We still have the record. I just hope that we can put it in the album or maybe we can make something else, too."
Wiz Khalifa said his wife is the reason he ended up working with Adele. Adele and Amber Rose are each other fans, he said.
Phil Collins has also said that he is working with Adele as well, though it's not clear if it's for her upcoming album.
"I've just started to work with Adele," Collins said in January. "I wasn't actually too aware. ... I live in a cave, but she's achieved an incredible amount. I really love her voice. I love some this stuff she's done, too."
