Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Relationship: Brangelina Working Together on New Movie Project
Brangelina fans are in luck since there are rumors that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may team up for another box office movie.
The engaged Hollywood couple may star together in a new project written by Jolie, according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter.
Although the project is said to be in the early stages, insiders speculate that it may revolve around a relationship drama that Jolie wrote some years ago, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
If the film does go into production, it will mark the first time Pitt and Jolie worked onscreen together since the 2005 action film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith." According to the Huffington Post, the movie earned $186 million in North America alone. Shortly after working together on the movie, Pitt and his then wife Jennifer Aniston divorced, after getting married in 2000, and he became romantically involved with Jolie. The two have been together ever since and are raising six children together.
This would also mark another behind-the-scenes project for Jolie, who wrote and directed 2007's "In the Land of Blood and Honey." The "Girl, Interrupted" star is currently finishing up her movie "Unbroken," which is a movie she directed about the survival tale of Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini. That film is slated to be released in December. Later this month, her new Disney villain story "Maleficent" will be released in theaters.
Although Pitt denied claims of cheating on his first wife, he admitted that he "fell in love" with Jolie on the set of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." In April 2005, one month after Aniston filed for divorce, photos emerged of Pitt, Jolie and her son Maddox vacationing in Kenya.
In January 2006, Jolie finally confirmed that she was pregnant with Pitt's child, marking the first time that she publicly acknowledged their relationship. The two got engaged in April 2012.
