'Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For' Cast News & Release Date: Jessica Alba Talks Nude Scenes, Reportedly Ends Friendship With Kate Hudson
"Sin City" sequel star Jessica Alba may play some sexy roles, but don't expect to see her nude any time soon.
Alba graces the cover of Glamour magazine's June issue in pretty modest attire, but we all know how raunchy the 33-year-old actress can get in front of the camera. She's set to reprise her role as stripper Nancy Callahan in "Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For." Alba won't be stripping too much, however, as she doesn't do nude scenes.
"I don't want my grandparents to see my boobs," she told Glamour. "That's it. It would be weird at Christmas. And, I mean, really, if you look at the movies I have done, getting naked would never 'elevate' the picture."
This mentality is something Alba has maintained since at least the time of the first "Sin City," when she told Elle magazine that she doesn't "do nudity."
"I just don't," she said. "Maybe that makes me a bad actress. Maybe I won't get hired in some things. But I have too much anxiety."
Based on the success of the first "Sin City" movie, it's not likely that too many people will demand ticket refunds if Alba doesn't show enough skin.
Based on rumors, however, one of Alba's friends might not buy a ticket because they are reportedly fighting. Radar Online reports that Alba and Kate Hudson are no longer friends because Hudson began dating Matt Belamy, a rock musician, and "it made Kate believe she is rock and roll royalty and the next Gwyneth Paltrow," according to a source.
"Kate has wrecked the friendship, and Jessica pins the start of their troubles to the beginning of Kate's relationship with Matt a few years ago," the source continued.
Neither of "The Killer Inside Me" co-stars have commented on the rumor.
"Unfortunately, Kate has become not a nice person since she's been with Matt," the source added. "It's sad, but Kate and Jessica's friendship is completely done. They used to be so close, too."
The June issue of Glamour hits newsstands May 13. "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" hits theaters Aug. 22.
