Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend Nick Gordon is slated to give his first interview since her death nearly a year ago. The 26-year-old Gordon will appear on an April 28, 2016 airing of the "Dr. Phil" show on CBS.

Despite intense scrutiny and being the subject of a multimillion dollar wrongful death suit filed by the executor of her estate that charges he served his girlfriend a "toxic cocktail," Gordon has largely remained mum ever since she died under hospice care in June 2015. Months before, she was found face down and unresponsive in the bathtub of the Georgia home they shared.

Gordon Directly Asked if he Killed his Girlfriend

The "Dr. Phil" interview is being hailed as a sit-down where Gordon directly answers questions about the only child born to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's final hours before she had to be rushed to a hospital emergency room.

Recently released autopsy results reveal Bobbi Kristina died with a mix of drugs in her system. Her death has still not been formally declared as an accident.

A promo for the show pegs Dr. Phil at one point directly grilling Gordon "Did you murder Bobbi Kristina Brown?"

Gordon previously appeared on the show in March of 2015, during which time he tearfully reflected "I did everything in the world possible to protect Bobbi Kristina and Whitney."

Bobbi Kristina Buried Next to her Mom

Whitney Houston died just over three years before her daughter when she too was found face down in the bathtub at the Los Angeles hotel where she was staying.

An autopsy later revealed she had drugs in her system at the time of her death.

Gordon has not been charged with a crime and his attorneys have vehemently denied any wrongdoing on his part. They further contend the medical examiner's report should put to rest "all the negativity surrounding" him.

Bobbi Kristina has since been buried alongside her mother in their native New Jersey. This was Dr. Phil's interview with Nick Gordon last year in March 2015 while Bobbi Kristina Brown was in coma.
