ESPN's Body Issue recently came out, and received quite a bit of fanfare from people sports fans who were itching to see just what kind of physiques their favorite athletes have. Well, not everyone was so enthusiastic about the magazine's release.

Agnieszka Radwanska, the No. 4 women's tennis player in the world, was one of the athletes who elected to grace the pages of ESPN's hottest new edition. In it she can be seen posing nude by the poolside, with just her arms and legs being used to cover her most intimate parts.

Unsurprisingly, the Catholic Church was none too thrilled about this. Radwanska, 24, had been working with Krucjata Mlodych, a Polish Catholic "Youth Crusade," as an ambassador for the group. After her photo shoot for ESPN, however, that relationship has now dissolved.

"It's a shame that someone who has declared their love for Jesus is now promoting the mentality of men looking at a woman as a thing rather than a child of God worthy of respect and love," senior Catholic priest Father Marek Dziewiecki told Polish media.

Dziewiecki was also quick to say that while her self-objectification was certainly a main reason for her dismissal from the Youth Crusade, that wasn't the only reason. He opined over how such a photo shoot might effect those that love her the most in the future.

"If she meets a man who she can truly love and establish a happy family and raise Catholic children, then she would probably have to hide these pictures from relatives," Dziewiecki predicted.

In the past she has been a very vocal supporter of Catholicism, having appeared in commercials urging young Poles to embrace the Catholic faith. So far the 5'8", 120-pound Radwanska has not given a formal statement on the matter.

As for how she got her stunning figure, Radwanska was a bit more open. It clearly must be her tenacious workout regimen for her tennis career, because it surely isn't her diet. As Radwanska admits, she has quite the hankering for junk food.

"You can't beat a nice, home-cooked Polish meal," Radwanska said when asked about her favorite junk food. "But also McDonald's cheeseburgers or cheesecakes from The Cheesecake Factory. I am proud to say I have tried every single one!"
