'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' Teresa Giudice News: Reality Star Celebrates 44th Birthday Without Husband Joe
"Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice recently celebrated her 44th birthday with surrounded by her four young daughters and mugging for snapshots posted to social media.
"The sweetest birthday with my beautiful girls," Giudice captioned one picture posted to Instagram where she was surrounded by daughters Gabriella, 12, Milania 10 and Audriana 6.
Later, Giudice also posted individual pics of her embracing her daughters, along with shots of her celebrating with her mother Antonia, brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa.
Joe Giudice Remains Jailed
Absent from it all was husband Joe, who remains jailed and serving out the terms of his 41-month prison sentence on bank fraud related charges. Teresa also served nearly a year on similar charges and was only released under house arrest just before last Christmas.
She recently paid her first visit to her husband, where the two are reported to have spent a "very emotional" day together. Teresa's plans of visiting her husband were complicated due to rules governing her supervised release.
"She was so happy to see him," said a source.
Teresa Picking up the Pieces
Since being freed, she has rejoined the "RHONJ" cast, where she is reportedly earning an annual salary of as high as $2 million. She has also released her "Turning The Tables: From housewife to Inmate And Back Again" entitled memoirs, which delve into the 11-months she served behind bars.
For a while, the book ranked on the top-sellers list among entertainment biographies, despite Teresa reportedly being stymied in her efforts to gain permission to embark on a country-wide book tour to promote the novel.
Several media outlets have reported Joe Giudice could face deportation proceedings to his native Italy once he is released from custody.
"There's a chance of anything happening," he told reporters prior to starting his sentence. "There's nothing in life that is certain. But I mean, we'll deal with that when I get out."
