Snooki Weight Loss: Unrecognizable at 96 Pounds With Skinny, Post-Pregnancy Figure
Gym. Tan. Laundry. That was the credo that everyone on MTV's hit show Jersey Shore lived by during their days on the shore. Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi certainly took the tan and laundry portions of that saying seriously but seemed to not care so much about the gym. Until now, that is.
Snooki has claimed that her intense post-pregnancy workout routine and diet has her at a wafer-thin 96 pounds. After a few public appearances this month, the diminutive ball of energy barely looks like her previous self.
"Everyone's saying the 'new fit me' isn't what I'm suppose to look what. I wasn't always a fata** kids. Get used to my fitlife, cause I love IT," tweeted the Jersey Shore star.
While she reigned supreme on MTV, Snooki was best known for her crazy sayings, drunken behavior, and wanton disregard for her own personal health. Now that the Jersey Shore cast has gone their separate ways, Snooki has gotten her act together just in time for her to enjoy her newborn baby Lorenzo.
"It's weird -- being a mom has made me grow up," she told Us Magazine. "It's made me think that partying is just bulls---. It's a phase that you go through. Now I'm a mother and there's so much more to life than just having a good time."
The 25-year-old reality TV star has certainly been busy as of late. Not only has she had to endure the normal trials and tribulations of being a first-time mother, but she is also planning her 2014 wedding to beau Jionni LaValle, as well as making time for public appearances.
The physical transformation of Snooki has certainly not gone unnoticed. She has dropped over 40 pounds since she became pregnant. As is often the case, her change in image has brought with it plenty of detractors, but Snooki seems to have taken any criticism in stride.
"Everyone's like 'Oh, she's 96 pounds, she's crazy!' I'm the size of a fifth grader," she said. "I'm 4 foot 8 inches tall, so it's normal to weigh 96 pounds," admitted Snooki in an interview with Life&Style Magazine in May.
