'Zootopia' Behind the Scenes: An Exclusive Look of Film's Art of Animation
This week Disney will release the highly successful "Zootopia," one of the best reviewed films of the year and also one of the most successful at the box office.
Disney has released a behind the scenes clip that showcases interviews with some of the incredible animators who worked on the film. Throughout the clip the animators share some stories of how they were able to create certain characters and design certain characteristics for each of the main figures in the movie.
The clip shows the original sketches that the animators had to create for the film as well different scenes from the actual movie. The clip comes from one of the features in the new Blu-Ray/DVD combo that Disney will release on June 7.
"Zootopia" tells the story of a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox who must work together to uncover a conspiracy in a city of anthropomorphic animals.
The film was originally released in March and went on to gross $337 million at the domestic box office and over $1 billion at the foreign box office. The film also became the second most successful animated film of all time. The film is voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Jenny Slate, Octavia Spencer and J.K. Simmons.
"Zootopia" will be released on both Blu-Ray/DVD combo as well as separate DVD.
