Mila Kunis has finally broken her silence for the first time regarding her pregnancy and engagement to Ashton Kutcher.

During her appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Friday, May 9, Kunis discussed what she expects in the future with her fiancé.

"Congratulations," Ellen DeGeneres said. "Now you hid it for a while. I mean, you got away with it for a long time."

"I did," Kunis agreed. "We were actually able to hide it for a very long time. I know. It's amazing."

When DeGeneres asked Kunis about her due date, the "Friends with Benefits" actress played coy.

"Some time this year. I promise you," she responded. "It will be this year." She also declined to reveal her baby's gender because she and Kutcher decided to keep that private. However, she admitted that the couple has already picked out a name.

The 30-year-old actress then talked about her pregnancy cravings: "I'm very stereotypical. I eat sauerkraut all day long. Here's the truth."

"Because you're from the Ukraine, right?" DeGeneres asked.

"I guess so," Kunis said. "This is the worst craving to have because sauerkraut smells, and so every time you open up a jar it just reeks in the whole kitchen. ... It's not like ice cream where everything smells lovely."

DeGeneres asked if Ashton Kutcher is helping the actress, "Like if you wake up in the middle of the night, will he bring you sauerkraut or a pickle?"

"Yes. But he kind of preempted this," Kunis said. "He assumed that I was gonna have goofy cravings, so he stocked our secondary fridge with weird food. Just like pickles and sauerkraut, or like anchovies and ice creams, just in case at one point during this pregnancy I'd be like, ‘I really want something.' And it happened last week. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I need a pickle!' It was just the weirdest thing, like I needed this pickle. And he was like, ‘Hold on a second,' and disappeared in the backyard and came back with the most amazing dill pickle of all time."

The "Ted" actress also revealed that she is planning a natural birth when DeGeneres asked, "Are you going to do it at home?"

Kunis replied, "We thought about it. We watched a couple of documentaries, and we looked into the midwife aspect of it and things and spoke to my OB/GYN and realized that the hospital that I'm going to be laboring in does a midwife, you know, doula type of thing, and so I'm gonna do it as all natural as I possibly can unless that there's an emergency or something that should go wrong."

She added that she does not want an epidural. "I'm crazy. I mean, I did this to myself -- I might as well do it right," she said. "I wanted this. It's like no one made me do this."

In addition, Mila Kunis unveiled how she managed to keep her engagement to Kutcher a secret: "We were able to keep this private for two months -- two months without anybody knowing. I think everybody assumed we've been engaged for so long that I was wearing the ring in public for two months and no photograph was ever ... like nobody ever commented on a single photograph. ... They just decided not to acknowledge it for two months. It was amazing."
