'The Mentalist' Season 6 Episode 21 Spoilers: Will Lisbon Move to D.C. With Agent Pike? [Video]
Lisbon and Jane pursued a dangerous mobster on the latest episode of "The Mentalist."
In "Il Tavolo Bianco," Fischer (Emily Swallow), Jane (Simon Baker) and Lisbon (Robin Tunney) work to catch a mobster while Cho (Tim Kang), continues to focus on bringing down the masterminds of the global human trafficking ring that was introduced in the previous episode.
Lisbon is not happy when Jane and Abbott (Rockmond Dunbar) place her in a sting, unbeknownst to her or Fischer. They set it up to appear like Jane is being prosecuted for the murder of Red John, when in actuality, Jane needed to see who was on the jury to determine who was bribed for an unrelated trial.
Jane finds that none of the jurors were bought off. He concludes that it was actually the prosecutor who had been bribed, not the jurors. The jury then decides that the prosecutor does not make a strong case.
Meanwhile, the team tries to catch a mobster who frequently hires hit men. Jane reels in the mobster by flirting with the man's wife, which leads the mobster to put a hit out on Jane. The team is then able to capture the hit man in the act and the mobster.
While the team is working on that case, Cho continues to focus on busting the human trafficking operation. He finds out that the sex traffickers have been testing the girls' blood to find out which girls are the healthiest. Once they obtain that information, they have the girls killed then sell their organs on the black market.
On the next episode, "Black Hearts," "The head of a kidnapping ring is sought by Jane and Lisbon as the victims begin to run out of time. Meanwhile, Lisbon makes her decision about whether to move to Washington, D.C., with Agent Pike."
Watch the promo here for "Black Hearts," which airs Sunday, May 11, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
