Powerball Winning Numbers for July 6, 2016: $257 Million Jackpot Drawing & Live Results

There were no grand prize winners in the July 2, $243 million game, rolling last Saturday's jackpot over into Wednesday's game. The winning Powerball numbers for July 2 were 10, 34, 39, 59 and 62. The winning Red Powerball number was 4 and the Power Play number was 2.
Three Players win $1 Million
Three players matched all five winning white ball numbers, earning prizes of $1 million each. Of those players, two of the winners also played the Power Play option, increasing their winnings to $2 million. The three winning tickets were sold in Colorado, Indiana and Minnesota.
Overall, there were just over 1 million winners of at least $4 each. Powerball is offered in 44 States, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. Players select five white numbers from (1 to 69) and one red ball (1 to 26) Tickets cost $2 each.

Mega Millions at $508 Million
Meanwhile, July 8, Mega Millions jackpot stands at a staggering $508 million after there were no winners in the July 5, $449 million game.
The $508 million jackpot will be the seventh largest jackpot in the history of the U.S. lottery, offering a single winner the option of walking away with a onetime payment of $357 million.
The winning numbers in Tuesday's drawing were 29, 46, 53, 64, 73 and 10. The last jackpot winner came roughly four months ago and there have been no grand prize winners in 34 straight drawings. The odds of winning the jackpot are estimated at one in 259 million.
