Jennifer Lopez on Marriage: Won't Say 'Never',Talks Learning About Love the Hard Way
There are no limits in the world of Jennifer Lopez.
And so after three marriages and admitting that she "learned about love the hard way," the star performer shares that she's more than open to the idea of walking down the aisle a fourth time.
Still Romantically Linked to Dancer Casper Smart
"I'm not saying marrying again is out of the question," said the mother of twin eight-year-olds and rumored to still be dating much younger dancer Casper Smart.
"But then, nothing in my life is out of the question," she added. "Everything and anything is possible. I don't put limits on myself."
That kind of philosophy has paid big dividends for Lopez, currently starring in the new TV cop thriller "Shades of Blue." The Bronx born star plays an NYPD detective struggling to balance the challenges of a highly stressful career and being a single mother.
"Growing up in the Bronx, I was around a lot of cops and I even dated one once," she said. "He wasn't a major boyfriend - I can't remember his name."
J-Lo a Household Name
Nowadays, everyone knows who Lopez is. Regarded by some as one of the most influential Latin performers ever, her J-Lo brand has become the stuff of legends. Earlier this year, the former "American Idol" judge's net worth was estimated to be in the neighborhood of $320 million with her lucrative Las Vegas residency gig only expected to significantly add to it.
Lopez's string of high-profile romances have garnered almost as much attention. Since splitting from first husband Ojani Noa, she's been linked to such stars as music mogul Sean "Puff Daddy," Combs, dancer and second husband Chris Judd and later Academy Award-winning actor Ben Affleck.
Her third marriage was to Latin actor and singer Marc Anthony, who she admits had a way of making her feel special. Nonetheless, she and the father of her twin children split in 2012.
"When my marriage to Marc ended it wasn't easy to find forgiveness," she said. "It wasn't the dream I'd hoped for."
All those experiences play a huge role in forming the Lopez you now see before you.
"I feel good at the moment and if I feel good when I'm with somebody that's great and if it doesn't feel good, I stop it," she said. "I used to ignore red flags in relationships. Now I act on them."
