'Power' Season 3 Episode 2 Spoilers: Where is Kanan?
"Power" made a major come back for Season 3 with James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) officially out of the game and in a committed relationship with his former mistress Angela Valdes (Lela Loren).
In the season premiere, "Call Me James," Ghost stopped dealing drugs to fully commit to running three clubs. He says he doesn't want to spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder, but is he really at peace just by saying he wants to be on a straight and narrow path?
And while Ghost is stepping away from the throne, Tommy (Joseph Sikora) is hungry for his spot and will stop at nothing to get it.
Only, Tommy has to kill Ghost in order to stay at the top, just like Felipe Lobos (Enrique Murciano) ordered. Lobos does not make empty threats either. He ordered a hit out on Tommy's dog, and if Ghost is not dead soon, his girlfriend Holly (Lucy Walters) is next.
Although Ghost was telling people to call him "James" since the switch in lifestyle, he told someone on the phone to call him "Ghost," once he found out that Lobos is still alive. Does this mean that Ghost is officially back in the game?
"Ghost deals with loose ends before tangling with some new nightlife competition," Season 3 Episode 2 show description reads on TVGuide. "Tommy confronts Tasha (Naturi Naughton), who must learn to coexist with Angela. Later, Tommy finds an advisor in a former lover."
Meanwhile, Ghost believes that he killed Kanan (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson). But we all know Kanan escaped the fire and survived the stab wound. So where is he?
"Power" fans thought of many places that Kanan could be in a compiled video message on Souncloud. Some predicted that he is hiding out at his baby mother's house while others say he is plotting against Ghost, waiting for the perfect time to get his ultimate revenge.
But with Tommy trying to take over Ghost's old empire, will he become an enemy to Kanan too? Remember, Kanan killed his own son for a spot at the top. What makes Tommy any different?
Ghost is not the only one who needs to look out for traps. Since the feds suspected that Angela was in on Ghost's identity the whole time, Lobos planted a seed; he told her that he thinks gang members tried to kill him.
She takes the bait and goes home to tell Ghost that Lobos is still alive and that he has nothing to worry about. But if word gets out that Lobos does not know Ghost ordered the hit out on him and is still alive, then it is actually Angela that has a lot to worry about.
Tune into Starz on Sunday July 24 at 9 p.m. for an all new episode of "Power."
