The Tuesday, July 26 Mega Millions jackpot has reset to $15 million after there was a grand prize winner in the July 22 game for the second straight drawing. Make sure to check back at this page for the posting of the winning numbers in real time.
Two players matched all the winning digits in last Friday's game, each of them walking away with a share of the $15 million jackpot. The winning numbers were 8, 24, 25, 26 and 30. The winning Gold Ball number was 7 and the megaplier was 4.
Lottery officials report the winning tickets were sold in Georgia and West Virginia.
Cash Option at $10 Million
A single game winner in Tuesday's game will have the option of collecting on a cash option, onetime payment of $10 million.
Mega Millions drawings are held Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m ET. Five balls are drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 75; the Mega ball is drawn from a set of balls numbered 1 through 15. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 259 million. You can watch a live stream of Tuesday night's draw.
Mega Millions is played in 44 states, plus the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. Tickets cost $1 each.
Powerball Jackpot $422 Million
Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has now swelled to $422 million after there were no jackpot game winners in the July 23, $391 million drawing.
This marks the third time this year the jackpot has already exceeded $400 million. A single game winner in Wednesday game will have the option of collecting on a lump sum payment of $291 million.
The winning numbers in the July 23 game were 5, 7, 23, 35 and 39. The winning Red Powerball number was 11 and the Power Play number was 2.
