Mexico vs. Germany Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for Olympics 2016
Mexico and Germany face off in the Olympic games on Thursday in Salvador, Brazil.
The two sides are seen as favorites to win Group C. Mexico, of course, is the reigning champion, winning the gold medal four years ago in an intense final against Brazil. That was El Tri's best finish ever in the Olympic games, with the team having finished no higher than seventh place prior to that tournament. That seventh place finish took place back in 1996 during its second appearance in the United States. The other two appearances for Mexico were marred by poor group finishes.
Germany has participated in numerous Olympic games but has never actually won. In fact, the team's best finishes were third place in 1964 and 1988. Aside from that, the team has seen itself fall apart in the first round on numerous occasions and fail to qualify between 1988 and 2012.

The two sides battle to a tough 1-1 affair.
