As "Dancing With the Stars" comes closer to naming a winner, the final contestants want you to know how they really feel.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Meryl Davis' partner, expressed his qualms about the ABC dancing show after Monday's episode.

"We never really get to hear [from] the viewers or what they thought," he said. "The one day a week thing, meaning that today's score is what's going to decide if we make the finals. That's a little disheartening, but I would love to hear what the viewers think."

These concerns has gotten Chmerkovskiy questioning his life as a "Dancing With the Stars" regular.

"Maybe I need to rethink what I do and what I'm inspired by," he continued. "I draw inspiration from real things, things I can relate to. I don't put up fluffy choreography just to please four people in the room and be satisfied with that. I want to do a little more. For the first time Meryl is giving me the opportunity to do that."

Meanwhile, Olympic gold medalist Charlie White made a confession via People magazine: He has had asthma since he was a a baby.

"I've always had to train harder than others to get the oxygen to my muscles because of my lung capacity," he said during practice with partner Sharna Burgess. "I have to push myself past the point of being comfortable."

Amy Purdy, on the other hand, is quite comfortable these days. Despite an earlier injury, she managed to pull off a perfect score on Monday with partner Derek Hough.

"We held off on practicing certain lifts as well as the stool tilt until the day before the show in order to allow more time for my back to heal, and by showtime I was ready to go, with my doctor in the audience of course to work on me between dances and to be there if anything went wrong," she told Los Angeles Times. "However, the night went amazing, one of the most powerful moments of my life. I wish I could describe the energy of the audience during our dance, it was magical."
