Korea Republic vs. Honduras Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for Olympics 2016 Quarterfinals
Korea Republic and Honduras face off in the quarterfinals of the Olympics on Saturday.
The Koreans managed to win their group, arguably the most challenging in the entire tournament. Despite having Fiji to contend with, Korea had to dispatch Mexico and Germany in its latter two matches. The team drew with Germany despite blowing a few leads before conquering Mexico in the final game of the group stage 1-0.
Honduras managed to defeat Algeria in its opening games 3-2 before losing against Portugal. Despite that setback the team rallied in an impressive display against Argentina. A late penalty gave Honduras a 1-0 lead that all but put them through. The team had chances to double the lead but wound up conceding in extra time. Despite that, the 1-1 draw put Honduras through to the quarterfinals.
