Germany vs. Canada Live Stream, Preview, Predictions for Rio Olympics 2016 Semifinals
The women's nation teams from Germany and Canada face off in the semifinals of the Olympic games on Tuesday.
These two sides met in the group stage with the Canadian side coming out on top by the score of 2-1. Germany held a 1-0 lead in that game but Canada was simply too good and managed to win every game of the group stage, the only team in the tournament to accomplish the feat. Then it encountered France in the quarterfinals, a tightly contested match that went in Canada's favor thanks to a goal from Sophie Schmidt in the 56th minute.
The Germans finished second in their group thanks to goal differential and then had to match up with China PR in the quarterfinals. Melanie Behringer proved the difference maker, scoring in the 76th minute to give the Germans a 1-0 victory.

This match will be more tightly contested than the other semifinal, but look for Germany to come out on top 1-0.
