Jamaican phenom Usain Bolt, an undeniable and overall favorite competitor at the 2016 Olympic Games has smashed too many world records to count and garnered tons of gold for his track and field feats. But the "fastest man alive" is so much more than just an athlete.

With rumors circling about retirement plans come 2017, what will Bolt spend his time doing? The possibilities, it turns out, are literally endless. Author, entrepreneur, philanthropist, role model, wordsmith...these words just don't do Bolt justice in trying to box him into a categorical personality with a definite future direction.

The athlete extraordinaire himself, however, has an inspiring way with words, so who better to tell us about Bolt than Bolt himself? Here we'll take a look at his personal perspectives regarding competition, women, personal philosophies and past experiences:

On Women:

"When I'm at the gym, I think about chicks, going to the beach, and looking good. I do it for the girls."

"Women always find out when you lie. Always. No matter what,they always find out. They're like detectives."

On Competition:

"Every season for me, it's like starting from scratch again."

"I don't think limits."

"It's always a wake-up call to get beaten."

Looking Toward the Future

So after all that is said and done, what will this superstar do after his leaving the Olympic arena for good in 2017?

"I really want to try soccer after I retire because I've watched football over the years and I think I could be a good contender," Bolt said.

He also mentioned, "the more success I have with track and field, the bigger my brand is. So I would say I'm more of a brand now, trying to build for the future."

And Bolt has certainly made plenty of headway on that avenue, having launched his own clothing line in collaboration with PUMA, and a set of signature Usain Bolt watches for luxury watch brand Hublot. He also announced a partnership earlier this year with ENERTOR, a footwear company whose patented insole technology was created to help athletes perform better and stay injury-free.

The man owns a restaurant in Kingston, Jamaica called "Tracks & Records" and is a movie star in the making, too. A feature-length documentary dubbed "I Am Bolt" will "reveal the highs and lows of Bolt's real journey - the work and dedication, as well as his planned retirement in 2017" and is slated to hit screens later this year.

The Bolt Foundation

All of these extracurricular pursuits, however, are just secondary to what seems Bolt's priority prerogative: his work as a philanthropist. The Bolt Foundation, whose main focus seems to be on helping children in his native Jamaica, was built in a bid "to create opportunities...for a positive change."

According to its website, the Foundation has a specific vision and it "is dedicated to the legacy for happy children, to enhance the character of children through educational and cultural development, as they live their dreams."
