Hillary Clinton has gained her strongest Electoral College map edge yet over Donald Trump, converting the states of New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Virginia over to the Democratic side.

A new CNN poll shows that if the presidential election were held today, Clinton would nab the 37 electoral votes offered by those three states, giving her 273 overall and moving her pass the 270 threshold needed to officially reign as President Obama's successor.

Clinton's Bounce Lingering

CNN pollsters had previously found those three states were considered tossups or too close to call. But since both parties ended their respective conventions several weeks ago, Clinton has benefited from a bounce in polling that now has her leading by most national estimates.

Surveyors for CNN also found even if Trump were to win all the race's remaining battleground states he would still fall short of the 270 electoral votes needed to secure the White House.

In recent weeks, Trump has moved to install new leadership at the top of his election team, desperately hoping to stem the tide brought on by several recent controversies.

The New York City real estate mogul is also expected to soon began airing TV ads in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia, hoping to change several negative perceptions of him that have come to dog his candidacy.

Overall, pollsters found the states of California, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, Minnesota and New Mexico solidly behind Clinton, while Colorado, Michigan, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin all tilt in her direction.

Florida, Iowa, Nevada, Ohio and North Carolina are all still considered too close to call.

Currently sitting at 191 electoral votes overall, Trump is reported to be solidly ahead in Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana. Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Wyoming, while Arizona, Georgia and Utah all lean in his direction.

Clinton Tops in Center for Politics Poll

Meanwhile, a recent Center for Politics poll also finds Clinton safely ahead of Trump in the electoral vote count at 348 to 190.

In that survey, Clinton leads in such critical states as Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida and Virginia.
