Fans will hear a “whole new tune” when “Mozart in the Jungle” returns to Amazon Prime on Dec. 9, 2016 with new characters, a love story ready to brew and drugs and corruption in the music industry.

Prema Cruz is joining “Mozart in the Jungle” Season 3 as a recurring cast member who is a single mother. Cruz’s character will be a potential love interest for Maestro Rodrigo (Gael Garcia Bernal).

Will the maestro have time to develop this new love story while orchestrating new songs for one of his greatest collaborators, Alessandra (Monica Belluci)?

“Spectra” actress Belluci is one of the other new casts in line for the third installment of “Mozart in the Jungle.” Her character Alessandra will make a major comeback in the industry, making Rodrigo the conductor for her big debut.

Will Alessandra re-win the hearts of fans after a long absence following her crazy lifestyle? Is there a potential love triangle between Rodrigo, the iconic singer, and Cruz’s character?

The show picks up where it left off with talented musicians and stars of the show Maestro Rodrigo, Hailey (Lola Kirke), Gloria (Bernadette Peters) and Cynthia (Saffron Burrows) giving fans juicy music industry scenes and live performances.

Peters talked about a “new romance to brew” in “Mozart in the Jungle” which means he could have been talking about the love affair between Rodrigo and the single mother.

The series shows how Hailey, a struggling artist, scores a once in a lifetime audition with the New York Symphony. After discovering Hailey, the cellist in the symphony, Cynthia, will continue to show the young blood the ropes in the music industry.

In the next installment, the crew will go on a tour of Europe. Who will get discovered there? And who will get pushed to the side as one musician outshines the other?
