We can't read your minds, but is it too much of a stretch to assume that you were shocked at the way "Homeland's" third season ended? The twists just kept on twisting and fans loved it as evidenced by the scintillating IMDB score it received.

If you need a little recap: Brody was a menace, or so thought the Iranians that hung him out to dry (literally) in the Tehran sun. His lover (Carrie Mathison) watched on in horror, wanting to simultaneously both help him and flee the scene. After his death, all Mathison can do is move on and the plot of "Homeland" Season 4 should afford her that luxury.

"Homeland" has vacated its Washington, D.C. setting and is now said to be taking place in Turkey and the Middle East. Specifically, in the capital city of Pakistan, Islamabad, and the Eastern Afghan city of Kabul. Real life violence still plaques the city of Kabul -- the Taliban just took credit for the heinous killings of 21 people -- so it'll be interesting to see how "Homeland" addresses the ever-present dangers of working in such a hostile locale.

Now, one of the biggest questions we have is how will Carrie will assimilate in her newfound home away from home? Will she sink or will she swim? She'll have her handpicked and highly capable team with her at all times so there's that. It's yet to be seen though if they can change a diaper. The mommy-to-be's bipolar disorder has wreaked havoc before.

Are you itching for "Homeland's" Season 4 return already? The new look show will return in the fall of 2014 exclusively on Showtime.

Zap2It reports that production will begin in South Africa in mid-June; the country is standing in for the Middle East for obvious safety reasons. While the new location is great for the show from a financial standpoint -- due to S.A.'s tax credit system -- it will be bittersweet for us as fans to watch the show take place far away from the Greater 48.
