Real Madrid was expected to runaway with a victory in its opening game of this year's tournament. Instead, the team was minutes or even seconds away from a devastating loss against Sporting CP. But Cristiano Ronaldo, who is still looking to rediscover top form after returning from injury, saved the day with a rare free kick goal and Alvaro Morata and James Rodriguez combined for the winner at the death.

The team now needs a better performance against a Borussia Dortmund side that had little trouble winning 6-0 over Legia Warsaw in its first game. In many ways, this match could very well define which side wins the group.

Prediction

This will be a tough fight for the defending champs. Look for a 2-2 draw to be the end result of a spirited match. Look for Ronaldo to have a big game, scoring at least one goal for his club.
