“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 13 will pick up right where it left off on Thursday Sept. 22 where DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) was badly beaten by Alex (Justin Chambers) over a big miscommunication. Will Alex spend some time in jail?

“When one of Grey Sloan’s own lands in the hospital, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) tries to figure out what happened while the rest of the doctors jump in to help,” the season premiere reads on Movie-fone. “Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) juggles huge secrets that affect her relationships with Alex and Maggie (Kelly McCreary). While Richard (James Pickens Jr.) helps Jo (Camilla Luddington) with a big decision, April (Sarah Drew) and Catherine (Debbie Allen) clash over the new baby.”

Alex dumped Jo after he could not find a reason why she does not want to marry him in the “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 12 finale. She never told her boyfriend the truth, and decided that they should make a baby together instead.

On the night that he dumped her, she got really drunk at a bar and DeLuca was told to keep an eye out on her. When he took her back to her place to make sure that she was safe, she told him about her past where she changed her name and ran away from her abusive husband and that marrying Alex would mean that her ex would be able to find her for their official divorce process.

When Alex came in the house, DeLuca was on top of Jo because she pulled him on top of her by accident, while she was taking her clothes off to go to sleep. Alex blacked out at the image and beat DeLuca badly.

Will Jo be able to stay with Alex after she has seen how bad his temper could get?

Meredith’s Secret

And what is Meredith’s secret that would make Alex and Maggie mad at her? Is it that she is hooking up with Riggs (Martin Henderson) behind their backs?

The crew tried hooking Meredith up with an outstanding doctor from another hospital but she dumped him because she wasn’t ready to move on. So her friends might be mad if she finally decides to move on with someone that they are not too happy about. Especially Riggs who cheated on his wife in the past and may have a thing for Maggie too.

Did Maggie and Riggs hook up in the past and we just don’t know about it yet? That would be an interesting turn of events.
