‘Power’ Season 3 Finale – Tommy Plans to Kill Ghost, Kanan Corrupts Tariq & Tasha Cannot Trust Anyone
Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) might take over the game for once and for all in the “Power” Season 3 finale on Sunday Sept. 25 where James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) will have to watch his back after Tommy made plans to kill him.
“While in the middle of throwing the party of a lifetime, Ghost must slip away to retrieve evidence; Tasha’s (Naturi Naughton) attempt to save her family requires she enter an unlikely alliance, while Tommy contemplates a move that will impact everyone’s present and future,” the season finale description reads on TVGuide.
Tommy Turns His Back on Ghost
In the last episode, Tommy found out through Tasha that Ghost is planning to take out Milan (Callan Mulvey). He felt betrayed because he warned Ghost that if he made a move, Milan would kill him.
Ghost told Tasha part of his plan, and she told Tommy because she was afraid that if Ghost got caught, Milan would kill her and her family. Tommy used that same news to kill Ruiz (Luis Antonio Ramos) and bring Dre (Rotimi) back into the game behind Ghost’s back.
But can Dre really be trusted after he kept the secret of Kanan’s (Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson) existence for so long?
Kanan’s Surprise Attack
Ghost is being attacked from all sides. While Tommy and his ex-wife plot against him, Kanan is using his son Tariq (Michael Raney Jr.) to get back at him. In “Power” Season 3 Episode 9, Kanan influenced Tariq to steal a pair of sneakers. Next, he might start selling drugs.
Will Tariq turn his back on his dad? He might have a change of heart after Ghost’s heartfelt speech during career day.
Tasha’s Loyalty
In the “Power” Season 3 finale, Greg (Andy Bean) knows that Tommy killed Ruiz, and that is the clue that will get him closer to solving the Lobos (Enrique Murciano) case. Had Tasha not told Tommy what was going down, Ruiz would still be alive and the authorities would be off of both his and Ghost’s back.
Will Tasha find out that Tommy is not really on her side? He just wants to get a shot at the top of the game and wants to take the father of her kids out in order to get there. Once Tasha finds this out, whose side will she be on? She never really agreed with Ghost's decison to leave the game.
Little does she know, Milan is planning to take Ghost out when he signs his club’s contract, and he wants Tommy to pull the trigger.
“Power” Season 3 Episode 10 airs Sunday Sept. 25 on Starz.
