WWE Rumors: Bill Goldberg confirmed for Survivor Series by Daniel Bryan against Brock Lesnar
The WWE Survival series pay-per-view match between Brock Lensar and Bill Goldberg is set to happen on November 20. Smackdown general manager Daniel Bryan has confirmed that. The WWE has been teasing for quite some time a match between Brock Lenser and Goldberg.
"I'm excited to see that match. Just Kidding ! It's going to be an awesome match. It's going to be a co -branded show, but I don't like that they're putting it together and not us," said by Daniel Bryan, the Smackdown general manager.
After 12 years, Bill Goldberg will step foot inside WWE arena and be featured on WWE programming on Monday Night Raw. It was cleared that Goldberg would finally decide to return to WWE television after several months of rumor and speculation from the WWE Universe that he could back inside a WWE ring once again.
If that really happens, it will be Goldberg's first appearance in WWE ring since Wrestle Mania happens in 2004. And that match at the Survivor series with Brock Lenser will also be his first match after defeating The Beast at Wrestle Mania XX.
The expectation is going on that Goldberg will be addressing the challenge from Block Lesnar at WWE Survivor series next month in Toronto. And to the surprise of no one, Paul Heyman recently challenged Goldberg to a match this past week on Raw.
The deal between the WWE and Goldberg has already finalized .The talks for the contract were ongoing for the past several weeks with the match with Lensar in mind, reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Goldberg is only linked to wrestle one match with the WWE but it will reportedly change depending on the feedback he gets from the audience at the survivor series. The WWE officials would want to see is the triumphant return of Goldberg spoiled by a Canadian crowd that wants to go against the grain. WWE just make the choice for them.
Nevertheless, these are just speculative until the WWE makes its official announcement.
